Rebranding Project
For this project, I merged Pepsi Max and Diet Coke to create a new product. I renamed and rebranded this merged product and came up with a new identity for it by incorporating elements from the two original products into the rebranding. I redesigned the product and gave it a unique look to separate it from the original product.
Magazine Project
In choosing the topic for a start up magazine, I created a healthy cooking magazine. I determined a name for the publication, Fit Food for Healthy Lifestyles, and developed a prototype premier issue for the magazine. The complete designed issue contained the minimum of: two articles each at least four pages, a table of contents, a masthead for the magazine, and front and back covers. Of the two articles, one was an interview. The articles incorporated all original imagery and techniques of photography, illustration, and found object.
Book Cover Project
To begin the project I selected the book The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
My design was influenced by the lamp post and red scarf since they are two iconic symbols of the book.
I designed the front and back covers, spine, and inside flaps. It was essential to incorporate the book title and the author on the front cover and on the spine. The back cover displayed multiple reviews of the book, the publisher’s name, and a UPC. The information about the author and a summary of the book was placed on the interior flaps.
